At fifty, finding romance is hard. It gets trickier if your three best friends (Liz, Kendra and Jo; together known as The Four) sign you up for a dating site and monitor your every move. Allie Dunlop certainly doesn't need the additional stress of her friend Jo competing for viable candidates. Allie eventually settles for David, an age-appropriate schoolteacher. He's pleasant but makes her feel sleepy, not passionate. Jo thinks David is fabulous but she's busy getting herself into trouble with other matches from the site. Then Allie meets Jameson, a self-made entrepreneur who volunteers at her non-profit. He's brilliant, interesting and wildly attractive. The problem? He's twenty-five years younger. The Four regard her crush on Jameson as inappropriate. If she pursues her feelings will she lose their friendship? Allie also has to factor in the possible wrath of her twin twenty-one-year-old sons if she dates someone half her age. And what makes Allie think Jameson would consider her as relationship material? A tale of alliances, conflicting values and what's really important in the complicated search for love.
