Railroad War!

Rate this book
Luke Yancy apprenticed to a gun-smith when he was just a boy. At fifteen, he fought in the Civil War, and later he became one of the youngest U.S. deputy marshals ever. Now, still in his twenties, Luke is ready to lay down his gun. Then he receives an urgent summons from Lady Katrina Fairchild.

Lady Katrina is ready to lay her railway to Los Rasos. But with the evil Bass Knotter on her trail, she needs the best protection money can buy. Bass and his bunch have already begun their rampage, and they’ll stop at nothing to divert those rail lines through their territory. Luke isn’t interested—until they go after his younger brother. Then Luke is forced into the battle. But his war against Knotter can’t stop his feelings for Shasta, who’s young, spirited—and Knotter’s stepdaughter. Winning Shasta’s love could be Luke’s toughest fight of all…

five shots at 50ft—a hole in each of the five ❤️ ❤️ 💜 ♥️ ♥️

Luke Yancy can shoot! Gosh it would be nice to know how Yancy and Shasta settled down after she got the thousands of cholla needles out of her feet and body. Always a great story with too much of an abrupt ending. Only means I want more on the characters!
