If you follow this book's advice in an actual real-world social service interview, you will look stupid.

(Trust me. I tried.)

If, on the other hand, you're looking for one of those jobs in an industry that will compensate you based on some kind of quantifiable value derived from your skills, experience, education, and finer qualities, maybe something in here could be useful. But if you're in social services, and you try and pull any of this shit, they will just laugh, and laugh.

I think they will kind of be laughing with you. But maybe not. It might be a mean laugh. I'll let you know.
