Which is a shame, because he's not bad looking in his true form, and we get along better than I do with my family.

Now it's up to me, my quirky tutor, and my somewhat-cat to figure out what the demons have planned for the fae realm, and by extension, the rest of the universe. But first, I must unravel the mystery of my bond, and a bargain my family made with the fae before I was born. And that's going to be an adventure all by itself...

Holly Hook is the author of the Destroyers Series, which consists of five young adult books about teens who are walking disasters...literally. She is also the author of the Rita Morse series, a young adult fantasy series still in progress, and After These Messages, a short ya comedy. Currently she is writing Twisted, a spin-off of the Destroyers Series due out in December. When not writing, she enjoys reading books for teens, especially ya fantasy and paranormal series with a unique twist.

Magic and Secrets is the second book in the serie by Holly Hook.

Liliana and her bond partner, Tex who's is Prince Talian curse to be in the form of a cat and cannot tell anything cause he would turn back into feline form. Think are going for the worse when demons are in the story. With the help of Jixian, she need to unravel her bond to the cat, fae, and what bargain her family has done with the fae, a long time before she was born.

I have received an arc of this book from the author. Cannot wait to read the next one in the serie.

The ragtag bunch of Liliana, Prince Talien aka Tex and Jixian fall into one bad situation after another.
Desperate to find out the bargain made they travel cross country in order to speak with the spirit of Leon to get answers.
The excitement and action is non stop and I am falling in love with the quirky characters.

I enjoyed this book; the more information revealed about Tex and the secret bargains made have created a unique and interesting story. Looking forward to seeing what happens next! (Side note- impressive inclusion of real-life location Centralia!)

An amazing fantasy story. There are secrets that can’t be told. Danger, fast paced action to keep you reading strong characters that definitely make the story.
