The 1971 edition of Military Aircraft of the World is a concise listing of types of aircraft, each with brief details and a single monochrome photograph, excepting types under development which have scantier details (mostly wrong) accompanied by a rough artists impression. Where existing types are described, the details are mainly correct with just a few glaring errors, whilst the illustrations are well chosen. Worth reading for purely nostalgic reasons, but little use otherwise.
While light on the details, it is very comprehensive. It was hard to find an aircraft outside the scope of the book from that post-WW2 era to early 70's.
