Learning the vocabulary in a new language is always highly enjoyable for me, though a big challenge (despite my good memory) than learning the grammar. This book is ideal if one wants to dig through some of the common words and expressions (proverbs included) in the French language. It covers an extensive range of subjects such as food, clothing, the house, the daily routine, work, travel, entertainment, and leisure activities, as well as topics of a higher intellectual level—science, the computer, technology, the economy, and intellectualistic and spiritual life.
