Great stories are character driven. We have to get to know, like, admire and understand the main character in a book in order to enjoy travelling with them on their journey. Angela Ford achieves this by inviting us into the life of Meghan Eden at the worst time, immediately after the death of her son in a terrible crash in a car driven by her inebriated husband. It destroys the marriage. Her husband is jailed and Meghan throws herself into the health spa she runs with her parter, Paige, whose life in some ways mirrors her own. Paige has suffered a miscarriage and has broken up with her husband. Is love possible or is it just a dream, a fantasy? This is what Meghan asks herself.
Meghan's one pleasure is the fresh air and exercise she gets playing golf. There are moments when she is playing, just snatches of time, when the the past recedes and she lives for a few seconds in the present. At a business seminar at a golf resort in Arizona she is paired with Eric Nolan - handsome, a real gent, there is a moment when they kiss and she begins to wonder if she can ever leave her sad memories behind and find happiness again.
Eric Nolan is in fact a well-known Hollywood actor - well-known by all except her, which he finds oddly refreshing and draws him closer to Meghan. Can they make a life together? While Meghan considers this faint hope, her ex-husband is released from jail without her knowledge. He believes his has some scores to settle, a twist in the story's tail that was unexpected and drives Unforgettable Kiss to an ending that we may have expected but not in the way we expected it.
You know how some books move along at a really slow pace making the story drag out longer than it should be? Well "Unforgettable Kiss" is the complete opposite. Remember when Superman flew around the world in seconds to save Lois Lane? That kind of fast. Okay, so I'm exaggerating but you get the drift.
I’ve read novels that move along quickly but this one really takes the cake. Without giving too much away let me just say that quite a bit happens in the story, all of which is touched upon briefly moving swiftly from one instance to the next with nothing in between. It’s a story that could’ve been so much more interesting and intriguing had it been developed more. This also applies to character development as I found it to be sorely lacking for each character.
Some readers describe this story as sweet, which it is. However, I’m going to take it one step further and say that it’s too sweet. Except for the ex-husband that was portrayed as the villain, everyone came across as a little too perfect for me, as though none of them had any flaw(s). How they lived their life, ran their business, it was all way too perfect.
You’ll notice from all the reviews that I’m the only one who didn’t enjoy it. What can I say? "Unforgettable Kiss" was just not my cup of tea, but hey just because I didn’t like it doesn’t mean you will.

Released on early parole without her knowledge, he’s had the time to develop an obsession. Will Eric be able to keep her safe? Love at first sight, well, I believe in it. Can Meghan be convinced? A page turner, a Story of healing.
Away on business trip, after the seminar was over Meghan goes to play golf and arranges for a partner to meet her at the first hole. Little did she know that playing golf would change her life, again, but this time for the better. Her last life changing event tore out her heart, when her son died from the actions of her now ex husband. Because of this loss, she had built walls around her heart so she would never again be hurt. Meghan was paired with Eric, and they made an instant connection and was comfortable with him as if they were old friends. Eric was surprised when he introduced himself and he was just Eric Nolan 'ordinary guy' not Eric Nolan the movie star, it was a breath of fresh air when Meghan didn't know who he was. As their friendship grew slowly the wall were wearing thin, but not falling. Meghan knew she had feelings for him, but she wasn't willing to accept yet let alone admit it. After Meghan finds herself being in a situation where she wasn't sure if she was going to live or die she was able to finally evaluate what is important in life. Life is fragile and you are not guaranteed tomorrow, holding on to the past only holds in the pain. Love heals and helps you remember and live. Angela Ford, not only does it again but she does it well. This is a fast moving romance with a hint of suspense. Unforgettable Kiss reminds you what it was like when you fell in love and is a sweet read that warms the heart.
I just finished reading Unforgettable Kiss. It is a steamy romance novel written by Angela Ford. After the tragic loss of love, Meghan is afraid to love again. Then she’s partnered with the famous movie star, Eric Nolan, for a golf match. The attraction is immediate, but she tries to push him away out of fear of being hurt again. Can she let her guard down and learn to love again or is she meant to be alone forever?
I really enjoyed this book. I felt like I could relate to Meghan in some ways. I also like that the story was realistic. I felt like I could relate to all of the characters. Not just the main character. I felt very empathetic to all their problems, and I was happy when they were happy. I love books that can pull you in that much.
I wish I could know what happens afterwards. It would be cute to do a sequel to this. Timelines were a little blurry in the beginning, but it made sense later on in the story. It wasn’t enough to be confusing though. Just a little blurry. There isn’t anything I really like about this book. It was amazingly written. I love how I was pulled in from the very beginning.
I fully recommend this book. Especially for those who like spicy romantic novels. It was just spicy enough without being too vulgar. I actually recommend all of Angela Ford’s book. She is incredibly talented. I have officially read everything she has ever written. I’m glad I was given the chance to read this one and all the rest of them.
Angela Ford has written a fast paced story, yet one that slowly builds up things naturally. A book that was hard to put down. I got drawn into the main character, Meghan, and her world from the first page and I think that the reader can identify themselves with Meghan and why she has built a wall around her heart. She has lost her son in a car accident whilst her husband was drunk and driving, so she sworn never to see him, nor love any man again to protect her heart from breaking again.
When she meets the handsome Eric Nolan, a Hollywood actor-although his films and fame are unknown to her- for a game of golf, it all changes and the real struggle for Meghan begins when their first kiss is 'unforgettable' for both of them. He is in every way perfect, a true gentleman, patient and both loving, romantic and passionate when the time is there. How can Meghan not fall for him? But the big question is can she truly open her heart to him beyond the physical intimacy? And what is her past still haunts her?
This is also the story of her business partner, Paige and her estranged husband Michael and their problems after their miscarriage. But also of Meghan's and Paige friendship over the years and how they stood by one another.
A well written, well recommended read!

I won this e-book in a contest, and this is the first book I have ever read by this Author but it won't be the last :)... Reading this was a roller coaster ride for me :o lol ... I definitely enjoyed the story line, though I felt the story was a bit rushed during many occurrences throughout this short story, where there could have been more character development... However, the main characters were likable despite the brief background on them.... I was pleasantly surprised by some twists & turns and a touch of suspense, but then I was disappointed by the abrupt ending that left me wondering if there would be a 2nd book after this one? .... Yes, I do recommend this contemporary romantic suspense read to my fellow readers and I look forward to reading more from this up & coming talented new Author :)
Meghan has given up on love after her ex husband destroyed her life by killing their son drinking and driving. She has given up the thought of ever finding love or trusting a man again.... ever! Eric is a Hollywood hunk and the latest it boy who is sick of living the fast paced life. A quiet golf retreat is exactly what he needs to get back on track. He never believed in love at first sight until he saw Meg. Can he convince her to take a chance on him?
Twists and turns take you by surprise as this story unfolds. Will Meg and Eric get their happily ever after or will they be ripped apart by someone who has never moved on?
A wonderfully written tale of life and love! I will be looking for more from Angela Ford!
Ms. Ford has written a poignant tale of heartbreak and it's aftermath of dealing with the turbulent emotions left in it's wake.
Meghan Eden has lost nearly everything in her life. Her son is killed by a drug driver. Her husband is in prison, the drunk driver that killed their son. A marriage that had been on the breaking point from the beginning. She has cocooned herself in her business, shutting out any possibility of ever loving again.
Eric Nolan is a sexy movie star, wanted and known by all, except Meghan. They meet on a golf course. For Eric it is love at first sight. For Meghan a chance to enjoy the day, and meet a new friend.
Can Eric's persistence and patience outlive Meghan's fear of love and commitment?
Unforgettably Amazing! Angela Ford has a powerful, distinct writing style that draws you into her stories and makes you feel as though you are living with her characters. This book is captivating from beginning to end; I couldn't put it down until I finished it! There is a blend of romance & suspense with unforgettable characters you can't help but fall in love with. I was able to identify with Meg as she came to grips with her emotions after experiencing heart wrenching tragedy & was able to believe in second chances. I cried bittersweet tears for each character and cheered with joy for them in the end! I highly recommend this book and am hoping Angela has a sequel in mind as it was difficult to say goodbye to these characters!
The story started off good. However, I didn't like the fact that time jumped a lot. It seemed like the book should have been much longer than it was. If those gaps were fit in, I would have liked it better. That being said, the actually premise of the story was good. I just wish there was more of it. I particularly enjoyed the scene in the book that was right out of the move The Wedding Planner. I recognized that right away. Right down to her Gucci Shoes! But, like I said, I did enjoy this book, I just didn't like the choppiness of it. The timeline for me didn't flow, which is something I feel is necessary in a book. I can only say that I like this book. I can only give it 2 Hearts.
I found Unforgettable Kiss very sweet and compelling. Ms. Ford's story tugs at your heartstrings through the concepts of a broken marriage, grief, and wondering if love will ever happen again. The characters and story line of this book are strong. There were countless sexual encounters from a love at first sight type of relationship, but it left me wanting to know more about the characters themselves. I can't categorize this as a "sweet" romance because of the explicitness of the sexual situations, but I will say it is one of the sweetest romances I've read in a very long time. I believe in love at first sight, and I'm glad that Meg and Eric took a chance on those feelings as well. Good job, Ms. Angela Ford!
This is a sweet sweet story about a woman trying to move London her tragic past...
Eric, the movie star attempts to get into Meghan' s heart.. Will she be able to love again?? Will he convince her she's needs to let go of her past. Will she find happiness like her friend Paige?
I wish I could give this book a lot more stars. I love the way store is told in this book. The character Meghan a first she pulled at my heart string with the way she let what happen her past hurt her future. But once she met Eric he help . This book was full of lust and emotional roller coasters that I could not get enough of . Wednesday, January 8th
This was a great learning to love again love story. I loved that Meghan was able to allow herself to love again after the tragedy of her son's death. My only complaint is the story seemed to move too fast.
This book was amazing and I would recommend for everyone who loves romance to read this book. The author knows how to capture the reader and keep you begging for more.
What a waste of time - I rarely give less than 3 stars but this one hardly can't get one. Listen to the audio version and the horrible narrator didn't make the experience better.
I enjoyed the story of Meghan and Eric but would have loved it if it didn't seem so rushed. The characters were very likable and the passion was there between the couples but the story was lacking depth.
Couldn't get into this story. It seemed disorganized. It seemed to me the author threw some plot pieces on the computer to see what would stick.Didn't seem to be worth the time.
Unforgettable Kiss is an easy read. The storyline intertwined between the lives of Meagan, our main character and Paige, her best friend. Meagan has built a barrier of walls, guarding her feelings against love and hurt. Who will soon fine those barriers are not made of stone. Her best friend Paige and her husband have their own struggles in life and the lives of these two women go hand in hand. I admit as I read on, I became more and more engaged in their lives. There was a small part that was a little too unrealistic for me and the story jumped a slight bit, (could have used a little more depth), but overall I enjoyed the story. I would rate this book a 3.5 star, though I gave it a 4 star due to the rating system. It doesn't deserve a 3 star. (She incorporates a little adrenalin rush in her books as well.)
Unforgettable Kiss was given to me for an honest review.
Meghan Eden is at a conference and takes some time out to play golf. She gets paired up with Eric Nolan, who she immediately has a connection with. But Meghan isn't looking for a connection - she lost her son several years ago when her husband decided to drive drunk and she's not willing to risk her heart again to a relationship. Eric is a famous movie star who likes Meghan even more because she doesn't know who he is. I didn't really get into the characters and the book was somewhat disjointed, with many parts not believable.
The blurb for this book on Goodreads is what got me interested in wanting to read the book. I was very disappointed in what could have been a good read but the way it was written just turned me off. The flow of the storyline was not very good and seemed forced at times. The tragedy that happened to Meghan should have been emotional but I felt disconnected just because of the way the book was written.
Meghan swore to never fall in love again after the death of her son by the hands of her husband. She thinks her Spa will fill in the void for her life. That's until she gets sent to a golf resort. That's where she meets Eric. After he kisses her it leaves her questioning how she feels on love.
While I did finish this book, the lack of excitement about killed me. It might even be a good book, but I couldn't handle the narrator. The narrator spoke in a robotic manner and it just sounded awful to me. Perhaps with a new narrator, the book would be much better?
