Laylah Hunter is a third-gendered butch queer who writes true stories about imaginary people in worlds that never were. Most of hir work deals with queer characters, erotic themes, and the search for happy endings in unfavorable circumstances.

Hir mild-mannered alter ego lives in Seattle, at the mercy of the requisite cats and cultivating the requisite caffeine habit, and dreams of a day when telling stories will pay all the bills.

Mystical Mayhem

It been a particularly horrendous day but I finally have the house to myself and the sun is long gone. It is my time to put the day behind me. I decide to read and work on some reviews as a way to relax and repair my shattered soul. Opening my computer I find this book waiting for me.
I am not sure how this story found its way to me. I've never heard of the author, I didn't see her name with any of my favourite publishers nor was she sent by a friend as far as I can find. I am very confused but I shrug and decide to take a look anyway. I now am seeing this as a sign. I am two pages into it and I've seen a shifter and there is a rumor of an Incubus. I think I am meant to read this.... I wonder what I've gotten myself into. I truly love books with Otherworld characters.

As I read it would seem the lead in this story has similar thoughts. Something tells me the little Witch is in far more danger than I. Risa is an entertainer who has drawn the attention of the absolute wrong woman! With the danger comes an erotic night, will she survive?

Oh My, That was INTENSE! I am VERY impressed!!!! I feel so much better too. I think I will have to go on the hunt and find this mysterious woman who has captured mind so well and thoroughly.

And just as a side note this book is perfect to read while Evanescence's “Open Door” play in the background!
