Katy Foster considers herself pretty ordinary. She’s got an ordinary job, an ordinary apartment, and an ordinary face. She wouldn’t change much about herself except for…well, everything. Okay, maybe not everything, but she’d love to go from a size eighteen to a size six, so maybe the deliciously enigmatic Jackson Wainwright might notice her.
Thing is Jackson Wainwright notices Katy plenty. With a golden halo of blonde hair and a curvy body meant for loving, Katy is Jackson’s kind of woman. Trouble is she’s got innocent written all over her in flashing neon lights, and Jackson is far from innocent.
Can one feisty Southern belle melt a Vampire’s frozen heart? And can a two-hundred year old vampire trust himself not to hurt her?
Just when life can’t possibly get any more complicated, Katy discovers a few supernatural tricks of her own. Will Jackson trust her to hold her own in a battle for their lives, or will his need for absolute control push her away?
Too many parts were taken from other books and meshed together in a horrible collaboration. There was no buildup and the characters were so "blah" their dialogue sounded like it was written by a 5th grader. And their so called BDSM?? I'm not even sure the author understands what that means... I'm sorry, this was such a harsh review but honestly a little originality goes a long way.. And btw, if you want to do BDSM, probably shouldn't make the male such a wimp!! They were like two teenagers trying to figure out what to do... Hell i'm sure even teenagers have more skills than the two in this book... Just saying.
OK so this was a quick read between books and I am not all that happy about it..I am glad it was free. The story line went by so fast that there really wash not a plot at all..I mean how in the world can you fall in love and say yes to marriage all in a 48 hour period. Then on top of that you find out that the man you had a crush on is a vampire and you are a STAR-that is cherished by vampires and hated by demons..then learn to use your powers within hours..
Really short quick read. I think this would be much better if it was longer and the characters more developed. Not a terrible story but it had the potential to be so much more than it is.
It was a good story, but the end seemed rushed. It was just too short. I didn't get invested enough in the premise (which was very interesting) to want to wait for or seek out another short story.
