This is a hardback book. No notes, highlighting or underlining. Reason for "Very Good" A note has been written on the inside front of the book. And a couple of small white blemishes on the back cover. Otherwise, in very good shape.

One hundred and two pages of one long chapter on Tennessee women. A joint compilation between Wilma Dykeman and someone named Carole Bucy from Nashville. Lots of snippets about ladies who made contributions to Tennessee and our country. There just was not a lot more. Not a lot of background or depth. I'd get interested in a character and "poof" the tale was over before it began.

I fell in love with the novel The Tall Woman by Wilma Dykeman and decided to check out one of her non-fiction books. Sadly, this one was a disappointment.

Interesting overview of a number of Tennessee women who have made a difference in the world. Most were native Tennesseans but for some it was their adopted home.
