With N.T. Wright and Marcus Borg musing on the resurrection and other scholars examining the likely location of Emmaus and the ending of the Gospel of Mark, this is not a casual read. However, this short book is an excellent starting point for students and serious readers looking to examine the latest (well, 2010) in academic studies of the issues surrounding the resurrection of Jesus.
