A Dance With Death by Louisa Bacio was not what I was expecting but was so much more. This story may be short but there is a lot going on. Two professionals from opposite ends of the dance spectrum meet for a One Night Stand but find so much more. I love how the author gave us such a full story filled with mystery, intrigue and love.

Adri’s Review:
Oh see this is one that has a little bit of mystery to it…
Raul is rushing to go on his 1Night Stand date, but he ends up having a bit of an accident. One minute he is seeing his life flash before his eyes and the next he finds himself where he is supposed to be meeting with his date.

Isabella, is waiting for her date wondering if she’s done the right thing. Her life is at an impasse at the moment. Her career as a dancer is practically over and she’s doubting that her date will show up. It wouldn’t be the first time she’d be left waiting alone for a date that never shows. Just as doubt and suspicion begins to take place and she decides maybe it’s best she leaves, her date shows up.

The date goes well, but just after Isabella falls asleep, Raul starts to feel afraid that if he falls asleep as well he will never see her again. He battles against the desire to sleep and in the morning asks Isabella about the events that happened before he found himself with her.

Now is he alive or dead? What will Isabella find when she arrives at his home… Was he injured and that is the reason he doesn’t remember or is something else going on? Those are the things you need to read to find out…

I love the one night stand series and Madame Eve. Could you please let me fill out one of your forms so that I can find true love on a blind date? There are many books out there that center around Madam Eve and her one night stand dating service. The ones that I’ve read have not disappointed me, and this one is right up there with just so hot, my kindle was on fire reading.

These books are usually short reads and this one is as well. It is still well written. Don’t let the title of the book throw you. It’s not scary or gruesome, this is romance after all. I can’t really reveal anything about the story because it would ruin the whole book for the reader. Give the book a chance.

The two main characters Isabella and Raul are each at a crossroad in their lives and are brought to each other because the time is right and Madame Eve is never wrong.

Louisa Bacio has a long back list of books that she’s written, and they look like they are naughty ones, which are the best kind of books to read. I am just so stoked!

If the reader has never read a one night stand book featuring the elusive Madam Eve, give this one a read.

After reading, A Date with Death, another fabulous 1Night Stand (1NS) by Louisa Bacio, I couldn't wait for the release of A Dance with Death.

Raul, a music video choreographer, and Isabella, a ballerina, are meant to be together.

When she auditions for one of his music videos, an assistant cuts her before they have the opportunity to meet. A mutual friend sets them up, but Raul is pulled away by an emergency before the date. After these missed connections, Madame Evangeline comes to the rescue with the help of Raul's canine companion, Ranger.

A Dance with Death is a fun, sexy read. The way Isabella's sensuous dances affects Raul melted my heart. You can't help but cheer on this couple who have an undeniable chemistry.

I hope Ms. Bacio's "Death" series continues within the 1NS line.

What an unexpected story. I read this in an anthology, so I wasn't prepared for the paranormal feel. I enjoyed it immensely. I liked Raul from the start and Isabella had a rough start, but she redeems herself.
