TMI Mom Heather Davis is determined to keep the romance alive after Daughters 1 and 2 are born and she'll stop at nothing to get lucky with her hubby. From pole dancing to skinny dipping to toy shopping, TMI Mom bares all in her journey for the joy of sex.
Heather Davis has a finely-tuned snarky side which she uses on a daily basis to save her sanity. She is married to a very patient husband, and together they have two very entertaining daughters. Oversharing My Life, a collection of humorous essays, is her debut book. She and her family live in Bartlesville, OK, where she chronicles her life at www.Minivan-Momma.com.
Congratulations to Heather Davis on a stellar second essay collection. Heather literally gave us the naked truth about romance after kids and I applaud her adventure. The essays go from sweet to sexy in her usual snarky style.
This hilarious second book from Heather Davis had me laughing out loud (as all her other books have done to me as well)and giving my husband just cause to kick me out of the bedroom for waking him up, which is ironic given the topic of "Getting Lucky". Keeping the romance alive isn't easy after kids, but you can't help but laugh WITH Heather as she and her hubby attempt to keep their romantic life sparky. I highly recommend it if you're looking for good snort laugh fun.
Heather Davis does not disappoint. Her real life balancing act ( sometimes literally in a pair of stripper shoes she has to hide from her kids in the closet) with keeping things spicy in the bedroom with her main man kept me laughing to myself even after I finished the book. Go Heather Go!
Heather Davis is the reason Pinterest finally made private boards. Hopefully her royalty check is very nice this month after all of us make our new private board entitled "Getting Lucky"- lol! Seriously, Heather brought a book to us that all married with children women can relate too. She tells what most only wish they had the "kahunas" to be so open about, some even in their marital relationships. She tells so we can relate, laugh and learn. Now, how do we bring New Coke back? And will Brian ever add his own chapter?
Loved this second set of essays from author Heather Davis! As a newly engaged woman, what I found most helpful about Heather's over sharing? Learning to laugh at yourself is probably the best key to happiness in a marriage and that I'll have plenty of opportunities to keep things romantic and exciting in the years to come. Plus, now I know to get a pole first. Thanks for the info, Heather!
This is the funniest book that I have read in years. Heather Davis has a gift for finding the humor in the everyday places, especially the bedroom. Her conversational, honest style of writing will make you feel like you are having a glass of wine, talking about sex, and giggling with your best girlfriends.
