A survivor of sexual abuse, I have recently written the true account of my childhood, titled: Life After Hell: Surviving Sexual Abuse. I have tried to convey what happened to me as well as my journey to finally getting justice.

A lot of my real life experiences have gone into my fictional works - especially my first book The Man of My Dreams, where I created a vigilante vampire that kills rapists and child molesters.....

I've loved Vampires and the paranormal ever since I can remember and always envisaged myself writing a book or two on the subject! I have written 5 books in The Dream Series so far: The Man of my Dreams, Be Careful What You Wish For, The Chosen One, Succubus: An Erotic Companion and A Match Made in Hell. All Paranormal Romance novels with Vampires(of course) as well as a bit of blood and gore thrown in and the 4th one is slightly on the erotic side!

I also recently published a short story (Why Won't Someone Help Me?) about my health issues and the trouble with getting diagnosed or treated for invisible illnesses.

Succubus: An Erotic Companion (The Dream Series) by Gladys Quintal

Over 18’s
4 Stars

Succubus, a novella in the Dream Series covers the 400 years between Elizabeth dying and the birth of the Chosen One. We get insight into how Sebastian and Elizabeth actually spent their time over those years as they waited for the time to come for the Chosen One to be born.

I have been following this series since it began and often wondered about the background of the story, what Elizabeth’s motives were and how she ticked etc. This companion book answers these questions. The story is very erotic as Elizabeth embarks on her new life/death as a soul collector and the book has some detailed scenes both MF and FF, so should only be read by over 18’s who do not feel offended by same sex erotica.

Gladys’ writing style has grown tremendously over the course of this series, the story has good flow and few editing errors and I’m really happy that she has kept me up to date with her new releases and we have become online friends. This book can be read at any point through the rest of the series without giving any plot spoilers.

Elizabeth and Sebastian make great villains. Elizabeth is cold and calculating. She is devoted to her role of delivering souls and her appetite for sex is insatiable. Sebastian is much the same way, but within him there is still a shred of emotion, especially when it comes to his half-brother Gabriel. He is as seductive as Elizabeth; the difference between them is Sebastian possesses a little more finesse.

I was happy that Quintal went back and filled in the gaps left in the previous books. My favorite quote is when Elizabeth failed at her first attempt at playing the role of succubus and taking the soul, “Stupid c*ck-sucking fetish. I need to get a handle on that if I am ever going to get anywhere in this f*@king job!” I got a good laugh and for a moment I got a whole new perspective of Elizabeth.

Not only did the novella have more erotic scenes than the previous the books, Quintal takes the reader on a journey through four centuries to the time of the chosen one. We learn how Chloe came into existence as well as Alexi’s view on falling in love with Cassandra.

If you have been a follower if the Dream series, this is a must read. If not, pick up the series and prepare for a very intriguing saga!

*I received this ebook in exchange for an honest review*

This book Succubus: An Erotic Companion really expanded on Elizabeth and Sebastian's history and how they came to develop there little scheme to obtain the chosen one.. Elizabeth a blood thirsty nasty Vampire/ witch.. And her ability to control or assume she controls those under her influence. I was excited to learn more about each character in this book and loved reading parts from a different POV. I would like to hear more about Gabriel and his role in this series!
Well done Ms Quintal another thrilling and exciting read..
Looking forward to reading A Match Made in Hell.
I would recommend this book to fans of the Paranormal as well as erotica fans (18+ due to mature content.)

I won a print copy of the book a while back, and finally got a chance to read it.

This is the 4th book in The Dream series, but it does not start where the 3rd book ended. The book goes back into the past and fills in a few gaps of the characters. I enjoyed finding out a few extra things about the characters in the series. I can't wait to read the rest of the series when I get the extra time.

Warning: Book is recommended for 18+ due to the sexual content. This book does have way more sexual content than the first 3 books in the series.

I love this series! This is a short novella that lets us in on Elizabeth's dirty little plan to gain the chosen one. We get a few back stories on the characters, including quite a few erotic scenes. Great read, can't wait to start on book 5! WaAR

Succubus is a companion novella, meant to fill in any remaining blanks between the time of Elizabeth's original reign of terror, and the birth of AJ. Each character in the series gets a segment of this story, some merely from alternative POVs. One new character is introduced, and I'm hoping we'll see more of him in future books. Loved it!
