REVIEW

You can enter into a wonderful world of adventure. The world you are going to enter is filled with characters you won't forget for sometime. The scenery is described with such beauty. You can visualize the beauty as if it is surrounding you. It is a new and different world and you can venture into it with Jillian, Bob and Millie. The characters are introduced as Bob (Jillian's cat), who once could talk. Then we have Millie. Millie was the best friend who made you smile. Millie was a goat. You get the feeling that Jillian and Millie had been best friends forever.

Jillian has just finished her first year at college. She is going home to her family's goat farm. She is looking forward to a quiet relaxing summer. Instead she finds herself, her goat and hrer cat in the kingdom of Aeviternus. A different world. She wants to go home. The only one with the power to do that is the magician. While in the kingdom she encounters different creatures. She makes friends with two clerics. Jillian is a true, loyal friend. Friends like that are hard to find. She romances with some nymphs that represent the four elements: earth, air, water and fire. She could get herself into trouble every now and then, and she does as she learns about the dark side of this kingdom. Is Jillian doomed? Will she get back home? The author wrote such a page turner and with such imagination. The book was written I believe to make you smile and really enjoy. I had a lot of fun reading this book. I think everybody should read this book It's a story of friendship, adventure and a little romance in the kingdom of Aeviternus. Thank you Ms. Perin for this wonderful book. This is definitely a keeper. I feel anybody that likes the adventure of other worlds, a little romance and finding out what a real friendship is will absolutely love this book. So get yourself a copy and travel to the kingdom of Aeviternus with Jillian, Mollie and Bob.

I would give this book 4 STARS.

Fall into a world of Adventure!

Beautiful imagery and a world filled with memorable characters. The world building was wonderful and felt very real. I could almost see myself in this new and strange world right along with Jillian, Bob, and Millie.

The romance was well paced and sweet. I liked that it wasn't the sole focus of the story thought it added to it without completely overtaking everything else.

Bob was Jillian's cat and once he was able to talk became the smart alec and wisecracking companion. He and Millie both brought a lot of comedy as well as friendship to the story.

Millie the goat was the loyal best friend who always made you smile. I really enjoyed her and Jillian's interactions. They were so funny and even though they were different species it was easy to see them as best friends who had known each other forever.

Jillian is your average college student. She was a very likeable character. Jillian is a brave and loyal friend who I could really relate to. She did get herself into a bit of trouble along the way, but she never gave up. She was also very friendly and outgoing. It was easy to see why she made so many friends along the way.

If your looking for an exciting adventure, look no further than Aeviternus Adventures. I'm excited to see what happens next in this series and can't wait for the next book!

I received this book free from a First Reads giveaway by Goodreads.

I waivered back and forth over giving it 5 stars or 4. The main reason the 4 stars won is because 3/4 through the book, my interest kind of wained. The story seemed to have come to a conclusion, but there had to be more because the book was not at an end. Then it suddenly created a new conflict to resolve. Also, there were grammatical and punctuation errors that should have been caught by someone before printing.

Other than that, I love the book. The characters almost came to life for me. The story was almost magical in the way it sucked me straight into the storyline. I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to see what happens in the next.

I quite enjoyed this one. The plot and characters were well done, if a bit typical. The setting was unique and the whole story was an interesting take on the possibility of alternate worlds. Will I read the rest of the series? Most likely. Would I read more by this author? Yes, if I didn't already have a huge to-be-read pile. Would I recommend this book to others? Yes.
