Describes how wool from a sheep is made into a sweater, explains how to tell the difference between wool and man-made fibers, and includes activities featuring weaving and dyeing wool
This week's library book bundle theme was "Sheep," and this book was part of our stack. This non-fiction book teaches facts about wool and provides instructions for various simple wool-themed projects. This book is definitely for a child much older than my five-month old (obviously!), but it seems like it would be a good pick for someone looking for easy indoor projects to do with elementary school-aged kids. This was written in the '90s, before knitting came back in vogue, so I'd imagine there are many more fun resources for young wool enthusiasts nowadays.

A fun book about where wool comes from and much more. it talks about how to dye wool and how to knit. I think it is a good easier informational book to read.
