A gripping, multi-generational mystery awaits in the small town of Frederick. Detective Faye-Lynn Johnson is tasked with catching a killer before he strikes again. When attending her twenty-fifth high school reunion, Faye-Lynn discovers the body of a classmate in a dumpster, and the entire town is thrown into a state of fear. As the evidence piles up, it becomes clear that her old classmates are the killer's targets. With her keen instincts and investigative skills, Faye-Lynn must race against time to save her classmates and bring the murderer to justice. Filled with secrets, lies, and powerful emotions, this suspenseful page-turner will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you enjoy books The 1st To Die by James Patterson or The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins, then you're sure to love this thrilling mystery.
Another tale of detective Faye-Lynn Johnson as she is part of the investigation into the murders of people she went to school with twenty five years before as well as jewel robberies from the homes of wealthy folks whilst they were entertaining guests doenstairs. Sold partially in the first person from the detecive's perspective, there is almost a feeling g of news reportage to the text. Unfortunately, the narration is again by Cassandra Arnold, whose robotic delivery makes enjoyment difficult. My thanks to the rights holders of Class of 72 who, at my request, freely gifted me with a complimentary copy.
Detective Faye-Lynn Johnson is on the case of murder at her 25th high school reunoin, after she finds a classmates body. The people she went to school with are the same only older and hidding secrets. As she and her partner investagate, twist and turns pop up all over the place. The storylink kept me listing straight thru.
The narration done by Cassandra Arnold is very plesant listening.
I will look for more books by this author.
I was given this audio book at my request. I offer my honest opinon in a review, under no obligation.
When a class reunion after 25 years leads to a murder and Detective Faye Lynn is on the case because she was one of the class alumni at the reunion. Other classmates start to die off by murder after the reunion and everyone needs to be investigated, even the dinner party bandit! No Spoilers! I definitely recommend this mystery!
Sometimes it is best not to relive your glory days. Detective Faye-Lynn Johnson is at her 25 year high school reunion. It is there that someone murders the Prom King. Faye's classmates are now older but also hiding secrets. As she and her partner investigate, they come across twists and turns. Oh yes in between class mates being killed, there is a cat burglar and another murderer on the loose. A great thriller.
