‘Footprints’ is the story of a young girl who is unwittingly abducted by insurgents and taken deep into the jungles of Central India. Although she hankers to return to her home and family, she comes to adapt to the jungle and the unusual circumstances she is faced with. She falls in love with Akash, the leader of the insurgents and forms a deep bond of friendship with Hari. Hari, in the meanwhile, has another agenda. Will he succeed? Will Nina ever go home?
Ipsita Banerjee is a lawyer who practices in the High Court at Calcutta. She did her primary school education at Modern High School for Girls, Calcutta and obtained her law degree from Symbiosis Law College, Pune. Ipsita is used to juggling many roles at the same time and writes only because she loves to.
