Руководитель российской делегации Фархад Сеидов, ведущий важные переговоры в Ираке, обнаружил, что его «втемную» использует израильская разведка. Ожидается, что на него обязательно выйдет неуловимый террорист аль-Рашиди. Ракета, выпущенная на сигнал радиомаяка, вмонтированного в перстень Фархада, уничтожит опасного преступника. При этом погибнет и Сеидов, но это издержки сложной операции. Подобный вариант не устраивает ни Сеидова, ни его помощницу – Алену Сизых, офицера Службы внешней разведки. Они делают все, чтобы выйти из этой грязной игры. Но вот агент израильтян, внедренный в состав российской делегации, делает все, чтобы операция успешно завершилась. Ситуация принимает совершенно непредсказуемый характер, когда в нее вмешивается сам аль-Рашиди.

The name comes from a small but brave Asian bird drongo that shows no fear to larger birds.
