Because I am rather new to the world of quilting, reading about the applique process had the appeal of a "page turner" for me. I just had to know- do you leave that paper pattern INSIDE your quilt?
The author combines cotton fabric and wool into the same quilt-I didn't know anything about that either! I thought you just had to pick one fabric and stick with it.

I love Kim Diehl's designs but this book doesn't bring anything new. It's all starting to look the same to me. I say this with a heavy heart because Kim Diehl is my favorite scrappy-look patchwork designer.
