Rate this book
Allie Hartman struggles being a teenage single mom and working a low-paying job. When her son is hospitalized, she is forced to find a second income. Drumming has always been her talent, and it just so happens a local band needs a new drummer, and Allie fits the part.

Brandon Weaver’s life is going great. He has a good job, a great girlfriend, and is the lead singer in a band. His dream is to get his band at the top. But after the drummer walks out, he is desperate to replace him. Allie Hartman is awesome on the drums, but is not so great with first impressions.

Allie and Brandon’s strong physical attraction draws them together, but the obligations they have to others brings complications.

Will their hearts ever beat to the rhythm of love or will they say good-bye forever?

Don't be fooled by the Product Description. This is an odd story where nobody swears etc. The hero says 'oh my gosh'! Brandon is engaged but then meets single Mum Allie and her young son. Fiance dumps him when she sees Allie touching him and when Allie admits she was coming on to him the fiance slaps her across the face yet Brandon doesn't do much and he just lets his fiance leave without running after her.

Brandon and Allie grow closer then his Fiance says she wants to get back together he says no she says 'oh okay'. Allie and Brandon get together with one chaste kiss and presumably live happily ever after. I can only assume so after such an abrupt ending!

I've since read the two reviews on Amazon.com. One states this book is a Christian book. That may explain the 'oh my gosh' and the chaste kiss but I don't feel the book had any christian message so find it all a bit odd!

It could have been a good book.... The storyline had potential... But it just didn't do it. And also this is more of a novella not quite long enough to be considered a novel in my opinion.
