It’s just another regular day for lifelong friends Matt and Aaron, spending time out on the river, doing some fishing. But their day of relaxation turns into an adventure of a lifetime when they fall into a hidden wormhole and find themselves in a parallel world. With the help of a dishonored military captain, Twilana Salizar, Matt and Aaron soon realize they’ve landed smack dab in the middle of a war between the Angelic High Military and a horde of demons led by Lucifer himself. Can this trio of universally-displaced travelers stay alive long enough to find their way home and avoid destroying the entire space-time continuum?
Hailing from central New Jersey, Michael Wirth has always had a penchant for the film industry. From a young age, he devoured any movie he could, from “Ghostbusters” to “Citizen Kane” and “Romancing the Stone.” When the time came to decide on his future (known during high school years as ‘choosing a major’) Michael settled on Electronic Filmmaking at New Jersey’s Fairleigh Dickinson University.
However, two semesters into the program, Michael left FDU to pursue what he felt was a more “stable” career as a graphic designer. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communications but soon realized that his passion didn’t lie in graphic arts but in writing instead, so he set out to write his first full length novel, "The Non-Linear Flow of the Universal Tides," and its sequel, "The Relentless Pursuit of the Cosmic Awareness." He followed up this series with a techno-detective-noir mystery, “Imperfect Recall.”
With three full-length novels under his belt, he looked to recapture his original passion: movies and filmmaking. Michael collaborated with director Louie Cortes on his upcoming short video “Eve” which screened at the 2021 Halloween Horror Picture Show.
When he isn’t navigating bowling alley dimensions, battling mechanical vampires or quipping with a sentient pile of radioactive goop, Michael enjoys travelling with his beautiful wife, Lauren. He’s visited several countries and greatly enjoys experiencing new and exciting things that help to expand his understanding of the world and enrich his writing.
The Non-Linear Flow Of the Universal Tides was a lot to swallow but once you read this book you'll understand the title better. Main characters, Matt and Aaron set out on an unexpected journey through different dimensions; you soon become wrapped up in the battles they face, the friends and enemies they make and the journey of friendship. I couldn't put the book down wondering where they would end up next and the unexpected troubles they would face. Did I mention a bowling alley dimension? Heaven and Hell have nothing on the average human guys who just wanted a relaxing day out of the river but got “called” to saving the entire universe.
Wasn't sure what to expect from this book, but was pleasantly surprised. Want to find out what it's about? Read it for yourself and let me know what you think. I'll be reading the second volume ❤️❤️
