Based on a true experience, the author describes life in a New York Mafia. Very well written book.

3.9 - a little too long and parts that were too slow but all in all a good read

Think The Godfather or Prizzi's Honor - a mafia story here. Thank goodness for the organization chart at the front of the book - it's a little difficult to keep up with the characters, but the author served 7 years in federal prison for racketeering and apparently knows whereof he speaks. It's a life most of us cannot possibly imagine (nor do we want to), but interesting reading...
