After the murder of her sister, Ida Tumarkin gains custody of her son, Moses, and falls in love with art dealer Max Frost, but problems ensue when Max's controlling behavior surfaces and she finds out he is Moses' father.
Really wanted to rate it a 5 ... psycho love, disfunctional family, single mom, murder ... It was all there, but the ends didn't tie up, left me dangling on too many ends. Would definitely read this author again.
I started to read this, but dnf b/c the whole story & then some is outlined in the goodreads synopsis, so there's no point now. I came on here to mark it as my current read, & although the synopsis confirms what i had already pretty much already guessed the events of the book to be, until i read said synopsis, I didn't actually know anything for sure. Well, now I do, so I guess I'll toss this aside at p. 38 & find something else to read.
