Writer/illustrator from Belfast. Author of the graphic novels The Cattle Raid of Cooley and Ness: a story from the Ulster Cycle, both based on stories from Irish mythology. Currently collaborating with writer Mark McCann on some comics projects.

Much like Gareth Hinds works, I feel like these could be a great companion to reading the classic Irish legends of Cu Culain. The artwork is done well and while Brown takes a little more creative license than Hinds the story is still presented in an easy to digest, more or less accurate adaptation. I found these after reading the webcomic and I think that using the webcomic in class a a companion to the legend is absolutely doable.
