Upholding his vision of freedom and democracy, maverick biker Tristan Hardrider escapes from the school that was brainwashing him and takes to the nuclear-ravaged American frontier to become Stormrider--legendary leader of the High Free Folk. Original.
Appalling, extremely poor Road Warrior wanna be. I must admit, toward the middle of this tedious dreck I just skimmed pages. I wanted to be done with this. Seeing how this was part one of a three, my God, part series, I really couldn't give a crap how it ended. I won't be looking for the other two books unless I want to do a lobotomy on myself.
The blurb on back made it sound like a nice end of the world, lawless land kind of ride. Nope. A small boy is the last survivor of City troops. He is put in a orphan dormitory. Yes. They are still doing adoptions when the end is near. He is acquired by a man and wife. They put him in school.????? He plays football and baseball????? No action. No Riding of anything. He is put in an army type unit. Then things start to blurr. Unendurable rubbish. .5 stars to be honest.
