Widow, Daphne Haynes, had already lost her delinquent husband, her family keepsakes, and her hope and now she is about to lose her Colorado farm, that is sinking in debt. The rotten bankers are threatening to throw her out early, when a handsome, tall and muscular cowboy shows up, determined to save Daphne and be the husband she deserves. All seems lost, however, when one banker tells her it’s too late and she must leave her farm immediately. Little does he know that her cowboy has arrived and he will demand, no matter what it takes, that they right their wrongs. Daphne is falling for this assertive rancher who left his life in Texas to rescue her. Is this man as amazing as he seems? Why did he drop everything to marry a widow with nothing to offer but a sea of debt needing to be paid? She finds out that he isn’t quite who he seems and the shock of it sends Daphne’s world spinning!

Sweet little book; read it quickly. Fast moving and fun reading. Had the makings for a longer book but oh well, ???? I would have enjoyed reading more of her writings but probably won't purchase any more short stories. Good feel-good book.

This is a very nice love story that takes place in the old west. It's about a woman who is about to lose her farm unless she can find someone to marry her and take over the debt. She advertises for a mail order husband and what she finds is so much more.

Great read loved Micah nothing like a good love story. hero to the rescue. too short really enjoyed the book.
