If I give this book only three stars, it is only because of my lack of imagination in what to DO with all those knitted letters. Her patterns are spot on and VERY cute, but I just can't seem to wrap my head around what I'm going to do with these once I finish them. I'm sure there are people who are better versed in writing with knitted letters than I am. I would recommend this book to them, but for me, it will not make it to my permanent reference shelf.

I fell in love the colors on the cover of this book. I took a step of faith and bought this hoping the patterns wouldn't be too hard to understand. I was so pleasantly surprised! The patterns were nice and easy to understand. I was able to finish a letter with very little yarn and it didn't take long at all. It was gratifying to make it and see the finished product so quickly. I highly recommend adding this to your knitting library. I look forward to making more cute letters for others.

This is a very quirky book. If you've ever thought - gee I'd like to knit someone's name - then this book is for you. Beautifully photographed and elegantly written this will take you through the awesome twenty six letters that make up our language.
