"Waiting for the Real World to Catch Up" is the story of Scottrick, a crazed inventor who always wanted to have a million-dollar idea. When he finally has one, it's snatched away by greedy and jealous co-workers. After getting dumped by a Satanesque boss, he is disillusioned with corporate America, and tries his hand at making a record album, being a truck driver, among other pursuits and is finally reduced to working alongside actress wannabe Tina Fey at the YMCA. Her success inspires him to write a book in the obscure field of Kitchen Collectibles. His book receives a lot of media attention and he tries to extend his streak by getting on the game show "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" with hilarious results.
