Hi, I'm Kimball Lee and I'd like to welcome you to the many worlds of my imagination! The topics of my novels and novella-series will vary, but my style of writing remains the same. I don't write 700 page books padded with useless words that take three pages to describe a doorknob! I do write funny, interesting, happy, sad, romantic, often titillating, and always thought provoking books that pack a lot good reading into just the right number of pages.
My first novella, Legal Action, changed my life over night with more than 250,000 downloads in the first months. I write twelve to fifteen hours a day and love ALMOST every minute of it! My social life has completely disappeared, but interaction with my readers through email, Facebook, and Twitter makes me very happy... (As well as the occasional Diet Coke and chocolate cupcake!) I am represented by Joyce Holland at D4EO Literary Agency. Happy reading! Kimball

I liked the first book but this one just felt rushed. It really needed more detail, maybe tell us what Finn was up to when he wasn't there? What was Bly doing? We just got a rushed version of Charlotte's life, kind of like a cliff note version.

Bly was the best d*ck she ever had. Then Finn was the best d*ck she ever had. Then she gave away the first best d*ck she ever had to some chick she just met. It all went down hill after the first book for me. The series started to seem cold and disjointed.

I loved the chemistry between Charlotte and Finn. I thought it was better than Charlotte and Bly's. He's still alpha, but it seemed like there was more love than just physical attraction between Charlton and Finn. Bly certainly isn't out of the picture quite yet, though! Finn needs to stop with the "my love" nickname for Charlotte. He says it after just about every phrase, when speaking with her. The steamy scenes continued to be good! I hope it stays that way throughout the rest of the series. There was a twist. It was bittersweet for me. I hope it doesn't kill the romance too much!

SPOILER:

The debate on if the father is Finn or Bly is huge! I'm looking forward to reading the next of the series to see what happens!

I didn't like this as much as the first book. The beginning felt extremely rushed. I felt like I missed a lot. It picks up after Charlotte receives word from Finn that he's still alive. The entire first book focused on her relationship with Bly, but Charlotte is so conflicted since Finn is still alive, she runs off to a random beach and low and behold, Finn is there. Way too coincidental for me. They go back to tell Bly she's leaving him. I was totally thrown. There were too many unanswered questions like: What happened after Finn was kidnapped? How did he escape? Why would Charlotte break off her engagement for him? I needed more of a transition. As the story unfolds, we get a glimpse at Charlotte and Finn's past, but I think that should have been introduced first so the reader isn't lost. After Finn and Charlotte run off, the story did start to settle down and the flow improved. Some scenes still remained rushed but I wasn't as lost as I was in the beginning.Charlotte and Finn finally find their HEA and life starts to return to normal until Bly shows back up. I expected him to go all cave man on Charlotte, but he didn't. He kept his cool. He still loves her and told her as much, but Charlotte rebuked him. Charlotte thinks she's done with Bly for good but Bly isn't defeated so easily and he drops a bomb in her lap at the end. You'll never be bored reading this series but sometimes the writing feels rushed and stilted.

The story left off where Charlotte left Alexander on the boat to be with Finn. He takes her away to go camping and loving her the entire time they are together. They travel to England where he shows her a house in Surry and asks her to marry him. While honeymooning they run into a woman that is one of Huang's lovers and Finn sends her back to be protected by his brother, Jude. Finn leaves Charlotte to see if Huang is out to get revenge over his son's death. While Finn is away, Charlotte is very emotional and learns that she is pregnant with Finn's baby. When Finn returns, his is happy to learn they will be having a baby. Charlotte has a difficult delivery but in the end, they welcome their son, Atticus, into the world. JP goes missing and Finn goes back into special opps to rescue his friend. Charlotte receives legal documents for a paternity test for Atticus from Alex.

This is a very short story but keeps you wanting to know if Finn will return to her.....

Right now I am so confused how Charlotte can go from Bly to Finn. Cause what I noticed was that Finn wasn't written as her love interest but more a buddy. As for Bly he was written as her love interest and I just thought that he was. But damn the ending always has a cliffhanger or a surprise. Yes, Bly is back and he's not giving up.

But I really hate to say this, I like Bly more than Finn.

Damn I need to finish the rest and find out how this chick is confusing the hell out of me. I like Charlotte. She's not whiny just confusing in how she is. I think I'm confusing myself as well!!

So looking forward to the rest of the books.

Off off...
Yine su gibi aktı gitti zaman.. Her şey oldu bitti ama hoşuma gitti benim.. Sayfalar boyu sadece bir gün içinde olanları okumaktan iyidir sanki D:
PS: Yalnız kapaktaki dudaklarda aynı Finn'in dudaklar haa!!! :D

So glad that Finn won out over Bly. Loved how Charlotte came to the right decision, the one that went looking for her himself rather than sending his hired man. Finn is wonderful and gave up his work life for the woman he loved, but quite the cliff hanger.... Bly demanding a paternity test, JP missing and Finn goimg to find him and not coming back.....

I thoroughly enjoyed the next part of Charlottes story as she moves to England with the love of her life Finn. I felt as though it was a little rushed in places, it lacked the emotions of the first book. I am hoping that the gorgeous Finn makes a return in book three but 'my love' is starting to grate just a little bit.

I just finished these books and I have to say they were amazing. I was so hooked.
Late night reading for me. I loved how she wrote this series. Everything going on even through the children. Can't wait for the next one. What a lovely frustrating life/love story. This next one... Really can't wait.

I must admit i like Finn's character a lot better than Alex but this still wasn't a fabulous book. Wish that instead of it being a number of serials that she would have just released it all as one book. Might read the next one, just don't know if i am that invested in the story.

Couldn't finish this book or continue on to the next ones. The story was just so ridiculous. She was in love with Bly, but Finn comes back in her live & suddenly she's in love with him & always has been. She runs off & marries Finn & suddenly she's pregnant. So now it's who's baby is it really.
