My Patch and Eye

Rate this book
I have lived a remarkable life, one full of adventure and some glamor that allowed me to live in places and do things that I never would have thought possible. I was born during the Depression into a poor family living in a small Illinois town, but I grew up to be the face of Glemby International and a top hair stylist to the stars. I opened the chic "Mr. Eddie's Beauty Salon" in Chattanooga, Tennessee, learned to fly, repaired cars, and managed large residential complexes, all with only one eye. I had many beautiful girlfriends and romantic escapades, then married a stunning woman who became the mother to my two sons. This memoir describes my life journey, including the loss of my eye at my brother's hand when I was a teenager. It was a dramatic event, but I never let it stop me from living a full and active life.
