**I received an ARC from the author for an honest review**

This book reminded me of the drama and back stabbing of Pretty Little Liars. I'm not sure who all has watched that series. This book is written in Hazel's point of view. It is her first year of college and right off the bat she has her eyes on a guy. His name is Roman. It seems he has a history with her roommate though. Her roommate warns her to stay away from him, but Hazel know shes a grown woman and she can take care of herself. She plans on making Roman hers in no time flat. And it seems like it's going to be easier than she though, but there is still the problem of her roommate, Cheyanne, and the history that Roman has with her. They have a secret. One that Hazel knows, but not everyone else does. If you like college drama, gossip, and catty remarks this is the book for you! I can't promise you'll like or sympathize with Hazel though, but there are other characters you will. I can't wait to see how this all unfolds in the next novella! I give it four stars!

Well, I don't think there has been a character that I just wanted to bitch slap right off the bat as much as I'd like to do that to Hazel. She becomes an instant beyotch to her room mate. Hazel quickly sets her sights on her room mate's ex and is determined to have him no matter how many times Cheyenne tries to warn her away from him. Hazel thinks Cheyenne is just jealous. Roman has been nothing but a gentleman to her. Will she get what she wants? We shall see.

There were characters that I did enjoy. Roman, even though he comes off as a playboy, there is something about him that makes me think he isn't as bad as he seems. Nolan and Audric, even though we didn't see much of them, they seem like nice guys. Hazel is a schemer and she's cooking something up. Maybe if I knew why she was so despicable I could justify some of her actions. But right now, she is absolute evil to me.

Felicity meets Gossip Girl in this unputdownable novella

Hazel worked her ass off all summer to look good for her freshman year at college and it was a good thing she did because there are plenty of swoon worthy boys that she can't wait to get her hands on.

The only problem is her roommate, Cheyenne. The beauty queen who also happens to be the ex of Roman. The hottie down the hall that she can't get enough of.

But Cheyenne and Roman have a past. A past that neither one of them can escape. A past that Cheyenne begs Hazel to keep quiet.

But if Hazel gets her way, nothing will stay quiet for long.

Wow, this novella is so good. What a promising start to the series. I swear I did not know this was a novella. I started reading it and got swept away. I live a couple hours from Myrtle Beach so I kept picturing some of the places, like Broadway at the Beach and wasn't paying attention to the bottom of the screen so I would know how much I had read, and all of a sudden, I click to go to the next page and I am done. I was upset because of course I had no idea and I don't have the next one.. I am going to tell you that if you like New Adult lit, make sure you read stories by Dawn Pendleton. She is awesome!

I loved this book. The lies, betrayal, scheming, and oh so much more! Though I usually prefer my books to be on the paranormal side, I have to admit that I didn’t even miss it with this book. There are characters to hate, love, pity, etc etc. I was so upset when I got to the end, I wanted to read more! This is a definite recommendation and I can’t wait to read more!

I liked this, even though the main character was a complete bitch.
