After Kayson fell from heaven, his life got complicated. His greatest enemies, the hell hounds, thrived on Earth and hunted not only the fallen but the blood children created by their Master. After being chased and confronted by one of those very creatures, Kayson’s life becomes even more complicated. He never expected to be rescued by a vampire named Sabrina. He also never expected to become her protector after she falls prey to a hell hound’s deadly bite.
Falon, head of the hell hounds, has been desperately trying to hunt down Kayson and Sabrina but with the rain steadily falling—due to interference by the lower-realm Angels, also known as the assemblies—Falon grows irritated. His only option is to threaten those that may know where the fallen can be found.
With the threat of the hounds finding Kayson and the other fallen, Kayson is running out of time. Stille, once a respected Warrior in the assemblies, is pushing Kayson to leave an unconscious Sabrina behind. After all Sabrina has done for him, Kayson refuses to abandon her. But will his decision leave his friends vulnerable to attack?
Sabrina is conscious enough to sense the struggles that Kayson is facing. If he knew the torture she’s been going through, she knows he would suffer even more. Sabrina silently fights the darkness that is seeping into her dreams, while struggling to stay strong for Kayson. But when the pain becomes too much, Sabrina has to make a choice that may cost not only her life, but the lives of others as well.

Thanks to all the readers for their support and continued enthusiasm for the Spiritual Discord Series. It means the world to me! I hope you enjoy the second book in the series and all the books to come!
I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVEIW (LOP) WARNING THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS
to start things off this book was equally as amazing as the first book! This is will definitely be a series that I will read all the way till the end. The suspense, drama and twists and turns within the novel keep you on the edge of your seat from page one. I can not say this enough, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!
The first thing that really stood out to me and was a little bit of a shock is that Stelle, the leader of the fallen angels and Falon, the leader of the hell hounds are brothers. They are the only set of angels that God made that are brothers. Kayson does not know why he did this, was it am experiment and in his mind if it was it had failed. The brothers felt the same kind of sibling rivalry that any other set of siblings have and it had driven a wedge between the two. At the time of Stelle's fall from heaven he believed that there needed to be more blood shed, that they should be killing the blood children and the half blood children. This was the same reason why Falon fell from heaven but unlike Falon, Stelle realized that he was wrong and was offered his wings back but turned them down because he wouldn't leave until he helped save his brother.
Within this novel you get to know more about Rainn, the angel who was staying with Emma and her friends. She was a second realm angel, there are three realms to heaven. The lower realm consist of angels and warrior angels who protect and watch over the humans, as well as fighting the influence of the hell hounds. The upper realm consists of the angels that protect God's throne and are part of his council, as well as regulate the duties of the second realm angels. The second realm angels record history, keep balance of the new souls and ensure all souls find their place. Rainn was assigned as a receiver, she would greet the new souls coming into heaven and direct them to their families. This was until she meet cloe, who is Ms. Kay's daughter (close family freind of Emma's and she owns the flower shop in town), she died in a car accident and after receiving her Rainn decided she couldn't do it anymore and asked to be reassigned. Her reassignment ended with her being trained to be a warrior angel of the lower realm by Gabriel, who is an archangel and their time together soon developed into feelings of love. As she watched over the humans and watched them have children she developed feelings of envy and jealousy. She wanted to have her own family with Gabriel and that is why she fell. She says the the look on Gabriel's face when she fell from heaven will forever be burnt into her mind.
You also get to find out more about the hell hound pack, when they come back into the story they are huddled inside a cave waiting for the rains to stop since they can not track their prey when the rain is falling. Saar is a female hound within the pack who has the ability to control the weather and sets forth to try to make the rain stop but meets resistance from the weather controlling angels who are assisting the fallen.
When the fighting between the weather controlling angels and the hell hound starts there is a mighty storm outside and Emma and her friends as well as the fallen are stuck inside the cabin while the storm beats and tears down the house. When it starts to break windows everyone huddles in a shelter made by a table and anything else they could find to block the storm out. This is when Sabrina finally awakes and things do not go very well.
Sabrina's condition has not improved much but you are given a glimpse into what she Is going through within her own mind. She starts thrashing around and screaming on the bed before she asks Kayson to help her. Ever since she was bitten it has allowed lucifer to have a direct line into her mind and he has been keeping her in a prison of pain ever since. He wants her to give herself up to him and says that if she does the hounds will leave the humans and all the fallen alone. When she does finally awake she is not herself and her eyes are red which only happens when she is about to feed. She grads Kayson and tries top bite him, one of the other fallen angels hits her to knock her out since Kayson refuses to allow anyone to harm her. Throughout her struggles lucifer tells her that he will let her go and allow her to say her goodbyes as long as she swears she will come to him after and also makes her promise that she will not tell anyone what is going on. When she wakes she pushes Kayson away because she knows she will have to leave him.
At the end of the storm the fallen Believe that they will have to make their journey on foot since the road is blocked by the trees that had fallen down. That is until Tat and Chase come through the dead trees with chainsaws clearing a path for Bristin and his jeep to come through. Once they get Emma and everyone home the twists just never stop. Not even a couple days after escaping the cabin and being told that they could all go free tragedy strikes the group of freinds, Braylee and Emma are kidnapped by Mr. Pucker, his son and his wife. They prevent anyone from intervening with the by his wife doing a spell that stopped anyone from coming close to them. When Rainn and Harper race back to the cabin to inform everyone of Emma and Braylee's kidnapping they are ambushed by at least 15 hounds. With the hounds holding Rainn captive they get Harper to take them back to the cabin and to they fallen angels. When Harper comes to the cabin in the van all the angels sense something is wrong. When all the hounds come out of the van and they have Rainn an all out battle ensues. Sabrina fights along side the angels and in one instance lets her vampire nature out and tears the spine out of one of the hounds to save an angel. When Kayson finally xdxddgets her calm enough to let that nature recede they join the fight again and try to get to Rainn. As the battle waged on Falon tried to kill Rainn but is thrown aside by Gabriel. Through the fight somehow Falon gets ahold of Sabrina and as everyone fights to get to her she drives a dagger into Falon's chest as he dematerializes them back into hell.
Just as the battle is coming to an end Mr. Rucker and an army of half bloods to assist the angels in the fight against the hounds. When they arrive and see that the battle is over, Gabriel is asked why they interviewed in the fight. Gabriel says it was because of Sabrina that they were allowed to interview. They saw something good trying to push its way out of her and they saw it in her fierce protection of Kayson, the fallen and the humans. This is also around the same time that Stelle gets back and he still refuses to believe that any half blood can have good in them. Gabriel also takes this time to pull Rainn aside to talk to her and to have some alone time that he had been craving. He tells her that he will be here waiting for when she regains her wings and finally kisses her.
While the battle is commencing at the cabin, Emma and Braylee are actually being held at Mr. Rockers. When Emma wakes up she is separated from Levi, Mr. Rucker, Braylee and Mr. Ruckers wife by a dense fog. You then get to know more about Mr. Rucker and what his connection with Emma is. He is Emma's great uncle and had to distance himself from his family because he fell in love with a witch named Rina who was running from the hell hounds, so to protect his family he had to leave them. When the barrier is brought down lucifer tries to rip Emma's should out of her body while she is still alive. When this happens Rina yells at him that he can not have her and prevents him from taking her should but is very drained by this experience. This novel also ends In a bang when they head towards another fallen, named Iraja home. He is know. For his hate if the blood children and holds a witch captive to help protect his home and the other fallen he provides sanctuary too. This witch might end up being the long lost sister Rina has been searching for. They all decided that they need to go there next so that they can try to get Kayson to the underworld so he may save Sabrina. Gabriel tells him that he will come with him is Iraja's but that is as far as he can go, he can not accompany him in his rescue mission. You are also thrown a curve ball when you find out why lucifer wants Sabrina and Emma so bad, he wants to have a war so that he can take over both earth and heaven and he wants Sabrina, as well as Emma to lead the war.
Absolutely amazing book and I can not wait to read the next one and see how all the characters will develop and change. Thank you for sharing this novel with me.
Hey, everyone I just started up a blog and posted all my reviews on it. Click on the link and go to the book review tab to find all of the reviews
Brandy Nacole does it again! I loved the continuation of Kayson and Sabrina's story, along with Emma's and Falon's. The book picks up right where it left off in book 1, Broken Faith.
Trying to keep Sabrina safe, along with the other fallen, Kayson finds himself at a crossroads. The others urge him to leave Sabrina behind, not trusting her vampire nature, but he will not leave her. How can he after she saved him and it almost cost her her life.
Sabrina is quietly fighting a darkness that is trying to take her over. When the pain becomes too much, she cries out, and wants nothing more than to escape from the pain she has been suffering in. When Sabrina is given an ultimatum, she does what she thinks is best, which is to protect Kayson and the others. But her decision is changed as the book progresses and her strength and want of survival really shows. As do her inner conflicts.
All the others were there, Emma who is also fighting against evils hand, Briston who is having trouble with handling the truth of not being able to protect Emma like he should, Braylee and her lose mouth but also her dark past that is revealed, and Emma's other friends.
I felt sad for Rainn as we slowly got to know the fallen angel a little more, but as the book comes to an end, I was very happy with the Stolen Moment Brandy gives us.
The hell hounds were there too, and man was Falon as terrifying as ever. The ending when Sabrina faces Lucifer for him has me wondering what path Brandy has in store for him. I can't wait to find out.
I absolutely cannot wait for the third book! If you have not read this series, you are missing out! I highly recommend this book to those who like fantasy, paranormal romance, and a good unique story. A five star series for sure!
Thank you to the author for sending me a free copy in exchange for an honest review!
This book was better than the first one. Probably because there was a lot more character development and we got to know more about their pasts. For example Rainn, we didn't know a lot about her but the author managed to create a love story and a past for her.
The love aspect of the story was much more in depth and i could clearly see how much Kayson loves Sabrina. His determination and belief that she had a good soul was very sweet. I just love Kayson and Sabrina!!! It was pretty cool that the author added chapters from Sabrina's POV so that we could see what she was going through, battling Lucifer and everything while everyone fought physically around her.
Emma was way stronger and she was a bit more confident. She was kind of like showing the angels that even though she was human she could still kick butt! Then we also got to see Tate's past since he was quite a mystery to me so i was happy that got solved. Kayson had a lot of POV chapters too and i was just sooo happy when he said he'd follow Sabrina to hell and get her back! Fallon, for some reason i still like him even though he is evil. But i thought i peeked a tiny little piece of good in him at the very end of the book...
Anyways MAJOR CLIFFHANGER!!! But i have a feeling the third book will be even better. We'll probably see more of Kayson and Sabrina's love and determination to find each other again and who knows maybe Fallon will have a happy ending!!
(I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a review).

Having read and enjoyed the first book in this series, I was quite happy to read the second book and even though it had my hated multiple first person POVs, I still found it tolerable to read. I just would have preferred the chapters to be in third person if there were going to be multiple POVs.
It was good to see the characters I'd got to know in book one. I liked Kayson's refusal to leave Sabrina's side and in a way, it was interesting to see her and the others from his perspective. I couldn't help feeling sorry for Sabrina during this book. What happened to her was vastly unfair... and it only seemed to get worse as everything went on.
I thought it was really good to have the opportunity to learn more of Riann in this book and it was pretty cool to read of her relationship with Gabriel. There were a couple of things that made me smile... although there were one or two scenes that seemed a little cliched.
I did feel some sympathy towards Emma, even though I didn't agree with what she ultimately did. I also found Tate to be an interesting character and it was good to see that he didn't just believe everything going on like that. At the same time, I thought that he and Emma seemed to repair their relationship a bit too quickly.
I didn't feel that there was as much action in this book, apart from towards the end... but I didn't find myself getting bored. It was good to read about the relationships between the characters and I especially liked Briston and Emma. I would have liked to see some more sweet moments between them, but I thought it made sense that the book focused less on the romance and more on the problems they were facing.
There were times when I really wanted to reach into the book and shake some of the characters, particularly the fallen. Emma's human friends actually came across as more compassionate than the angels should really have been.
I do have the third book in this series on my Kindle and I will be reading it before this week is out.
So this was another really fabulous addition to the series. I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first, but that was because a good portion of the first half is told from Kayson's perspective. For some reason Kayson bothers me a bit. It's like he's TOO pure. Yes, he's a fallen angel who's trying to get his wings back, so it's absolutely appropriate. It's just not something that I have an easy time with.
One of the fascinating things about this particular book is the way that Lucifer is personally pressuring some of the characters to betray each other. It was terrifying how he tormented them and I can't imagine that happening to me or someone I cared about. His character was actually very interesting and the author handled this very well.
A strength of the first book that continues into this book is that the characters are very well drawn. Each character has distinct and different personality traits, and they hold to those traits very consistently. I REALLY REALLY love Braylee! She's so mouthy and fierce. She's actually one of my favorite characters in this book. Sabrina is another, which is actually another reason that I didn't like this book quite as much as the first, she isn't in the first half very much. I missed her.
This was a very minor issue however, and the book was a very solid and fun follow up to the first. When I'm reading these books, I get very intensely sucked into them. If you enjoyed the first book, you will absolutely enjoy this book. I can't wait for the next!
I was given this book by the author for an honest review.
This is the second book in the Spiritual Discord series. I was hooked with the first book, Broken Faith, and have been looking forward to the second installment. I will have to say Brandy does not disappoint.
The main story surrounds a fallen angel, half-blood vampire and a human. Due to circumstances, their paths have crossed which puts those around them in danger, and puts them in a complex war due to all involved. There are love interests that add to the complications to the war, especially Kayson and Sabrina. But in order to win this battle, everyone is going to have to come together and lay their judgement aside.
This is a great series for anyone who enjoys paranormal reads. One of the things I enjoy about Brandy's writing is her ability to write action that puts you right in the middle of what's taking place.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review LoP
I am still struggling. I love to new views of vampires and werewolfs mixed with the angels. However the writing still makes it confusing and hard to follow. The first book was hard enough with Emma, Sabrina, and Kayson. Raging Storm adds Tate and Rain. I find my self skimming the chapters that are Fallon. I don't think a book series has ever confused me before
