It is was hard for me to relate to the subject matter. Mary was a peasant girl, pregnant. The religious apparitions and the legends and or religious beliefs came long after her baby boy was born and long after he attained religious importance. But a very fascinating story of an important belief concept for millions. Comments are invited from readers; especially those of other faiths. I have been fascinated all my reading life by all the faiths we encounter; both ancient and modern and also troubled by the way in which they divide us in such ugly and unkind ways. When I look at the idea of a concept that should be more binding for humanity and see, instead, how vicious and angry it is...it is troubling and sad. I tend to believe the different paths taken or not taken to idea of a supreme/prime mover should recognize the similarities that exist in common and see how so many exist as a result of those that came before.
