When a letter arrives out of the blue, the last thing bereaved widow Meredith Armstrong expects is it to be from her dead husband, Michael. Shattered with grief, she is stunned to discover that he has written a series of letters to help her get back on her feet. The letters contain the unlikeliest of surprises, and Meredith soon finds herself on an unexpected journey of self-discovery.
Along the way, she meets a mysterious stranger, Grant Harrison, who harbors a painful secret of his own. Drawn irresistibly to him, Meredith struggles with accepting her loss while opening her heart to new love. This is a story about endings and beginnings, and the realization that sometimes, love doesn't have to end with death after all.
I really enjoyed this read. I loved that it is told in first person my personal favorite style. It kept my attention through out the entire book, which has been tough for me as of late. I liked all the character and connected with them. The only issue I had was I wanted more from the ending, wish there was another chapter or an epilogue. That being said I would recommend this very sweet emotional book as it was a very good read.
