Alex is a timid and down-to-earth personal assistant for a modelling firm. While hardworking and easily put-down by colleagues who believe she won’t last in the industry, Alex has already laid out a map for the life she imagined, dreaming of having her own art show and getting into a big advertising agency- only reality begs to differ. When a turn of events forces this geeky assistant to model for a big company, hilarity and modelling drama ensues.

Lucas is a highly successful and well-liked businessman who secretly hates the on-goings of his existence. Despite having nearly everything money could buy, he dreams of the simpler things, like being free from the pressures of corporate life and the demands of his father (not to mention being forced to date a socialite).

A chance meeting lands the two together, intertwining their corporate and more importantly, personal lives. Will Lucas pull all stops to make her fall in love with him or will he end up heeding the path his father had laid out?

I'm sorry to say this Andrea Carmen but I really disliked this book. I didn't believe the characters had chemistry and I thought the story line was all muddled up. I know It was only a short 100 page ebook, but I've read ebooks shorter then that and they were better. I think the character of Lucas was way too rich and I couldn't get into him.

Rambling, painful prose with noticeable britishisms, but the premise was too adorable to pass up...though there was less of the awkward misunderstanding than I was expecting from the blurb. Still. Quick and cute.
