The story of Contessa and Alyce continues in Dirty Little Lies...

After moving in with Alyce, Contessa’s past catches up with her. Framed for a crime she didn't commit, her first instinct is to run even if it takes her away from the woman she loves. When Alyce confronts her and begs her to stay, she must learn to trust her lover or risk losing Alyce forever.

Alyce can’t say she’s too surprised Contessa has secrets – after all she never believed this beautiful woman was meant to be a stripper anyway. But can she get Contessa off the hook for past crimes, or will a nice long prison sentence come between them? And will Contessa’s big secret push them apart or pull them closer together?

This story is a follow up to Ms. LeFoy's No Glass Between Them but works alone as well. In this tale Contessa is working with Alyce at her firm. All is right in her world... until its not, very not!

I enjoyed seeing a new side of their still growing relationship. Contessa has LOTS to worry about and keeping secrets from Alyce is a biggie. My heart broke for her while at the same time I was furious with her because she did not tell Alyce the very huge secret and was worried Alyce would leave her. I admired Alyce' s patience and determination in helping Contessa get free from the past.

As with the first book, this one is sizzling hot and yummy!! I can not wait to read them both again!

I felt detached from this story mostly because Contessa was a drama queen and it all seemed a tempest in a pot of tea. I understood why she wouldn't want to share her secrets with her lover until her past caught up with her. Then it didn't make sense. She refused to cough up the information and got crabby at anyone trying to help or just do their jobs. I felt sorry for Alyse and honestly couldn't see what she saw in Contessa for relationship material. There were hot scenes mixed with Contessa's drama. Alyce was the redeeming part of the story. So just okay for me.
