Part of a wonderful series that brings the world of nature to beginning readers while educating them also on science and nature. In this particular book the story is just mostly about rain starting to pour and how various animals but one takes cover from the elements.

The reading is short, simple and brief while most young readers shouldn't have much of a problem picking up on the reading after a few attempts. The words are nice and bold enough to follow while there are tips to read and how to help your children in their attempts at the beginning of the book itself for those who want to use the educational tips provided.

The illustrations are actual pictures of various animals but they don't specific the actual species type but instead a basic group. Still they can be used to invite children to learn the differences between the different groups and in the case of parents who may know their animals it can also be an introduction to that animal or a question as to where they go to disappear from the rain.

Children will truly enjoy this book as they start on the path of learning to read.
