A strange little end to the Magic House books. I don't know whether H.G. Well had something to do with the clouds coming to life, or if it was just because they'd floated into Magic House territory that seems to make everything act unusually. Either way, Jack Salt, Paddy Pepper and Grandpa Clock have a slightly odd adventure (even by Magic House standards) in the clouds and then they come safely home via a rainbow slide and eat cloudfloss while watching cloudfireworks with the others from the Magic House.
