This isn't a bad little reference book. It basically is mostly a collection of opinions, as well as information, about the low-impact movement, with a collection of various stories of individuals and group projects from those that have gone down that route themselves. I personally don't have the means or opportunities, connections or resources to take part in this myself (and am not in the most peak of physical health, either), but I would certainly recommend it as beginner’s reading to anyone who wishes to jump on the very eco-friendly bandwagon.

This eBook version is free to download from the author/editor’s website, with a paperback version also available.

Whilst it doesn’t necessarily have as much usable information as might be hoped, it does offer lots of inspiration for those wishing to embark upon such a project. It’s also a subject on which there aren’t yet that many books, so therefore I’ve given it a slightly higher rating, also taking into account how interesting I believed the information contained within to be.

Final rating: ★★★★☆ – Really liked
