Ride horseback through dangerous Montana high country with infuriating AJ Clayburn as her guide? Fine--if that would help reporter Jacquelyn Rousseau get her story and prove to the rugged rodeo champ she was anything but an uppity debutante!
A few close calls later, the heat blazing in AJ's eyes looked less like ire and a lot more like passion. Still, a match between a cantankerous cowboy and a prim Southern belle? As likely as snow in August. Until a late-summer blizzard gearing up to strand .AJ and Jacquelyn in the mountains had them thinking about today, tomorrow--and forever.
MATCHED IN MONTANA: Wedding bells always ring when this town matriarch plays cupid.
Ruth Leslie Goodman Roberson (1961), well-known as Meagan McKinney gave up a thriving career as a biologist to become a full-time romance writer. She is author of over 20 critically acclaimed novels. Divorced, she lives with her two children in in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Uggh this book was pain to get through & had zero romance and instead we had a callous, cold jerk of a hero. God knows why the heroine even slept with him or fell for him? He is cold and rude to her throughout judging her before knowing her and even when he comes on to her it wasn't romantic at all. Big fail!
A much more fulfilling M&B than the ones I've been reading recently. Characters with actual depth, a plot that is easily recognisable as such, and a couple I was happy to see together. Good job.
