This book is about evil throughout history and how it interconnects. Exposes connections between cults and Islam. Amazingly, written by a 16 year-old son of a former Muslim terrorist, In Satan's Footsteps will make you re-think a lot of your existing paradigms about the history you've been taught.
I don't know why I expected more out of this. Yeah sure, I know it is great that a sixteen year old got his old man to help him get a book published. Unfortunately, it does not exactly turn out to be that great of feat. It is written poorly in that it contains many grammatical mistakes. There are also a few factual misstatements such as on page fifteen he mistakenly states that Jacob was Ishmael's younger brother. (better re-check that Bible, kid) Although, editing was apparently a none existent component, I knew what the author meant with these minor misspellings and what not, however the book fails on a more profound level. It reads very jumbled and the connections are not at all convincingly made. With this bad of writing one would guess that a kid wrote it by pulling a bunch of random details off of Wikipedia. Oh wait that is exactly what happened. Granted there are a few interesting tidbits of information here and there however a lot of the overarching theme of it is just rehashing what his dad is saying in his books. I would say it is OK for what it is but I wouldn't exactly agree with the back of the book where it is called an "extraordinary scholarly study far ahead of its time."
