Full disclosure, I'm a bit biased about this book as the author is a friend of mine. That being said, as someone who reads around 100 books a year, this was a very enjoyable read for me.
The fact that this story was written when the author was only sixteen years old is a testament to the incredible talent that she possesses.
Furthermore, the book was written in the span of a month as part of National Novel Writing Month. With this knowledge, it's easy to overlook the few spelling and grammatical errors and appreciate Oblivion's Heart for its complex characters, engaging storyline, and intricate mystery that keeps the reader engaged to the very last page.
I eagerly anticipate the next book in this series. Keep an eye on this talented young woman, I have no doubt that she'll be bringing us even better stories in the future.
