My boss recommended this book to me after she met one of the authors at a conference. She was incredibly impressed with his work, and thought I would enjoy reading his book. She was right. The title really sums up what this book is about - innovative global businesses and transformations of human societies. It takes a methodical approach to Uberpreneurs - entrepreneurs who go above and beyond what has been done before - and breaks the stories into categories, then each category into individual people, then discusses each person's background and how they became an uberpreneur. At the end of each chapter is a table that sums up the entire chapter.
I'd recommend this book to anyone interested in entrepreneurship, changing the world, or understanding how the world is changing.
