Double Bind
When Sarah is fired from her job at the nations premier drug research facility for using a biological weapon, she is at first outraged and shocked. She is determined to prove her innocence, even though the evidence seems indisputable. In the process she finds herself toe to toe with the dashing detective Rob Snyder. Even as he seems determined to get in her way, she can’t help but be a little dismayed. He is, after all, everything that she ever wanted in a man, if only he weren’t so annoyingly stubborn!
When she discovers that her dismissal was part of a much darker and sinister plot, she finds that the odds are so much steeper than she expected. Just as she is finally convincing Rob that she might really be innocent, she discovers just how dangerous that might be. Torn, Sarah realizes that she is going to have to give up her chances at the man of her dreams if she is ever going to have a chance at saving thousands from a terrible death. Pushing Rob away is the hardest thing she’s ever done, but she desperately needs him to stay out of the way. Unfortunately, men like Rob Snyder aren't exactly good at staying out of trouble.
