The book covers a dozen family lines that have historical origins in a small area of Tennessee. Each chapter is focused on a family line and has a brief intro about the communities. The historical narratives start in the early 1800's and move forward to the 1960's. Details include ancestral detail of family trees. My family has some roots there, although the root connections were decades ago. \
I don't know any of the people who live there and share my surname. I have never visited the place, but it might be interesting to explore some day.
My reading dates are general, and when I have some spare time and feel curious, then I sift through some of the names, photos & maps.
