EVEN BRIGHT PEOPLE HAVE LIMITED VALUABLE INSIGHTS SO IT MAKES SENSE TO LOAD UP ON THE VERY GOOD INSIGHTS YOU HAVE.
I think people who multi-task pay a huge price - they dont have the chance to think about anything deeply.
I think that one should recognise reality even when one doesnt like it; indeed, especially when one doesnt like it.
Overspending your income your entire life will make you miserable.
Being unreliable leads to misery.
When you avoid self-pity you get a great advantage over everyone else because self-pity is a standard response.
You get what you reward for.
The secret to happiness is to lower your expectations.
Rapid destruction of your ideas when the time is right is one of the most valuable qualities you can acquire. You must force yourself to consider arguments on the other side.
You could argue that inflation is the way democracies die.
Secret to happiness;
- dont have envy
- dont have resentment
- dont overspend your income
- stay cheerful in spite of troubles.
- deal with reliable people
- do what you are supposed to do

Great book. Highly recommended.
Multiple life lessons that anyone can apply in their life. Munger covers diverse topics and sgares his thinking on topics such as life, relationships, business and even on how to think properly.
