How I Met My Friends
How would it feel to have innumerable friends of all types and varieties? Some stay for life, some teach you something new and then disappear. An eleven year old girl and her mother try to find an endearing way to meet new people and make new friends. Where do they do it? How do they manage it In a theatre? Or a mall Not likely! Walk Siyani's journey as she encounters her new friends while playing, during a treasure hunt, while looking out for her grandmother and in many other ways!

This book, "How I Met My Friends" is a beautiful written tribute ever to an ethereal bond and affection between a mother and her daughter.
This book is remarkable and unforgettable in several ways, the most significant reason is its theme which makes it imperative to raise the concerns associated with the good way of parenting a kid these days.
Modern day sources of entertainment or electronic nuisances' have cut off the children from society to realise their full potential in terms of socialisation, interpersonal skills and understanding people.
Siyani, a girl confining herself to TV only for entertainment, experiences a whole lot of new exciting things when her mother starts taking her to parks to get her familiar with what's happening around her and how beautifully this world is outside television.
This book will take you on a journey of such exciting experiences of friendship and will make you realise the importance of the love of a mother without which this whole world is incomplete.
The lessons of this short story will surely leave an indelible mark in your mind for the rest of your life and it may also change your outlook to see this world.
The author has put life in simple words in such a way that It feels that a story is telling itself. An author is considered successful when he is able to make the readers feel the emotions with which he has written that piece and I must say, the author has created a beautiful piece with much more beautiful illustrations.
Overall, a short, crisp and a fantastic read!
