Call Me Boring more like it. Or Call Me Contrary. The heroine, Tina, was a tad wishy-washy, she couldn’t decide whether to be invested in the pageant, or whether it was important or whether she’ll just use it to get her boyfriend back (not sure why that would work when he thought the pageant was frivolous). The boyfriend, Jeff, was a pompous knob who thought his debating team was far more important than her pageant, not supportive at all. I was hoping she’d kick his egotistical arse to the curb. At least he was slightly better than the ‘boy-you-use-to-get-the-ex-jealous’ guy, Dave. He was calling girls dogs and even called Tina an idiot in one conversation. Great pickings at that school.
