The life Kirsten Tivon is living is not the life she envisioned, but it is not a bad life either. Out of chaos and pain, she has managed to carve out a fragile peace for those precious few that hold her heart and keep her sanity from dissolving completely. Then something happens to rock that fragile world so completely, nothing will ever be the same again.
My imagination was always thinking up different scenarios for shows I watched, books I read or things that happened in real life. It wasn't until 8th grade when a journal prompt in my English class about walking through the woods and hearing the snap of a twig that I thought about writing down some of those thoughts. That one small paragragh started something that tended to consume a lot of my free time. Most of that 8th-grade journal was filled with the story it started instead of the following journal prompts. It also saved my grade in English as my teacher was interested to see what happened next and I was able to turn in chapters instead of some of the small projects that were assigned. After quite a few years, two kids, a dog, a wonderful husband, the urging from friends and family, and many, many edits later, I decided maybe it was time to see what others thought of my stories. I hope you love reading them as much as I love writing them.
